About offline mode(download songs): Spotify songs are encrypted at source and the decryption key is tied to your account details,so this will never be hacked within the apk. BTW, who still download music these days?

About Audio quality: (Only applies on Mrdude versions,dogfood versions have real extreme quality enabled)

Audio quality is tied to your account, when you log into spotify servers – and select a song, the files are downloaded in usually around 3 different parts – depending on how long you’ve listened to the song – ie you don’t download the full in 1 go as 1 file. Each part of the song is encrypted and the decryption key is tied to your account/timestamp. Songs stored on the servers are encoded in different bitrates – so when you log into the server with a free account – you can only download at the max bitrate for your account (so about 128kbps) usually. If you have a premium account – this apk will download the exteme bitrate if you have that selected in your settings. I won’t go into it anymore than that – so if you want extreme audio and have a sound system where you will notice the difference, then you need a premium account, just make up a free 7 day account for that. You can spoof the mac on your device and use a fake email for that if you already had an account in the past.

They are all working the same but it’s always the best option to download and install the Final version.

Normal Mod:
Works the same as before, with car/voice search + alt patches applied for extreme mode + spotify connect (removed tablet mod so behind the lyrics and stranger things now work).

Alt Interface Mod:
Same as above, but contains a different interface (radio/video button removed from the taskbar- but still work and are available from navigating the app.

Playlist Mod:
This is the best way to manage your playlists, all the features are unlocked, this doesn’t have the same features as the normal mod or alt interface mod.

Login issue solutions

Experiencing login issue? Spotify is taking action on DMCA takedown the modified version of spotify app, hence a lot of users cannot login.

Login issue solutions?

1.Don’t use the “Real Extreme” dogfood versions. The latest update v8.4.43.632 Beta mod should be working fine.

2. Use VPN to login. Good luck!

Login workaround solution 2:
1. Find a free VPN app on Play store (Opera VPN will do)
2. Open up VPN app after downloaded, then connect to Hong Kong or Singapore
3. Open up your browser on your device, change it to private mode
4. Open up http://spotify.com and login with your users and password, go to edit profit and change your country location to Hong Kong/ Singapore (whichever you connected in step 2).
5. Now go back to Spotify app and login with your username and password.
6. You can now disconnect VPN.

Solution 3: Root required (seems VPN trick is dead)

1. This one has to be rooted. The only way to get it works is to get DRM bypass. It can be modify in the very old versions, like way back to v4.x something, can’t remember,anyway…if you are rooted,get into step 2.
2. Download and install Xposed framework (skip this if you have already did)
3. Download,install and activate xprivacylua xposed module(Download latest version here).
4. Turn off tracking and sensors for Spotify in its settings.
5. Good luck!

March 10: Solution 4 [100% working]: (No root required/tested and listening to heavy metal now)

1. Go to spotify.com and register a new account
2. If you are ARM device, Download and install this. If you are x86 device, download and install this.
3. Login and enjoy dem musics!
4. If this still doesn’t work, combine the VPN trick(solution 2), instead of switch the country location to HK or SG, switch to Canada.
5. If still doesn’t work, you either root your device or go purchase premium from Spotify.
